COMPOSITION PER DOSE (1 ML):
Freeze-dried fraction: Live canine parvovirus (CPV) strain C-780916 ¬ 106 TCID50; Live canine distemper virus (CDV) Lederle strain ¬ 104 TCID50; Live canine adenovirus type 2 (CAV2) Manhattan strain ¬ 104 TCID50; Live canine parain uenza virus (CPIV) Penn strain 103/70 ¬ 105 TCID50.
Liquid fraction: Inactivated Leptospira icterohaemorrhagiae and Leptospira canicola ¬ 109 microorganisms of each valence. Canine parvovirus infections, distemper, hepatitis, laryngotracheitis, tracheobronchitis and leptospirosis are diseases that can affect dogs at any age, and may even cause death. The animals are protected during the rst few weeks of life by maternal antibodies. As these decline in the following weeks the animals again become susceptible to infection. Systematic vaccination of puppies and adults produces a level of antibodies against these diseases which is high enough to ensure protection of the animals. In the case of animals which are asymptomatic carriers of leptospirosis, the potential risk of transmission to humans can also be avoided.
INDICATIONS:
Dogs: To prevent Parvovirus infections, Distemper, Hepatitis, Laryngotracheitis, Tracheobronchitis and Leptospirosis.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- The vaccine should not be administered to animals with possible intestinalparasites, under stress or that are incubating an infectious or contagious disease.
- The innocuousness of this vaccine in gestating females has not been proved. Therefore, its use is not recommended in those animals.
SIDE EFFECTS:
- A sporadic anaphylactic reaction may appear in some sensitive animals. In such a case administer the appropriate symptomatic treatment.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTE:
Subcutaneous.
DOSAGE:
Dogs: 1 ml/dog, for all weights, ages, sex and breeds.
- Using a syringe, inject the liquid fraction into the vial that contains the freeze-driedfraction. Make sure that the vaccine is completely reconstituted beforeadministering it.
- It is advisable to administer the rst vaccination at 8 weeks of age and revaccinate at 12 weeks of age.
- It is recommended to administer an annual booster vaccination.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
- Use the vaccine immediately after being reconstituted.
- Store at +2 to +8 ºC, protected from light. Do not freeze.
PACKAGING:
10 ds pack (freeze-dried fraction + liquid fraction).
